EIZEN ☠ AGE: 1,000+ ☠ HEIGHT: 6'1" ☠ SCARS: None. ☠ TATTOOS: None. ☠ APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION: Eizen's the sort of person who stands out from the crowd. Maybe it's the dark and edgy outfit, or maybe it's just how sullen he seems, but either way, he's a tall and imposing man. He prefers to wear dark colors and keep himself covered, and he's very picky about his appearance. What's that you say? One of his boots is rolled down while the other isn't? Fashion. He always makes sure to look his best, and he takes damn good care of his clothes. A full body image of Eizen can be found here. ☠ CHANGES IN GAME: N/A ☠ DEMEANOR: While his posture isn't always perfect, Eizen is the sort of person who carries himself well. He's tall and he looms over people, and when he's not doing that, he's slouched against the wall and looking mildly menacing. He doesn't always do it intentionally, but his cold personality coupled with his manner of dress doesn't always make him seem like the most open and caring person. Despite this, he definitely can warm up and will once you get him started talking about something he likes. He can be almost childish in how excited he gets about things like secret bases and bugs, but make no mistake, he knows his stuff. Still, it might take a bit to actually find that there's more beneath the cool exterior. ☠ VOICE: Eizen is voiced by Taliesin Jaffe and you can listen to him (and see him fight) here (starting at 5:09, I don't know how to do timestamps anymore, I'm so sorry; skip to 7:05 for more voice lines). Eizen's voice is deep and he comes off as serious and stern, with little inflection in his voice. He's not stiff, but he's blunt and often abrupt. This isn't how things always go with him, however. He can get really angry and worked up, or he can go on and on about things no one cares about, where he will absolutely gush forever. He's not nearly as uptight as his voice and demeanor imply, but getting to see that side of him is pretty rare. He's not exactly opposed to it, but he doesn't really initiate it and he doesn't really know what to do with it... So you're welcome to try, just don't be surprised if he isn't very receptive. ☠ FLIRTING: Feel free to! Eizen is fine with flirting, though sometimes it might go directly over his head. ☠ RELATIONSHIPS: I'm totally fine with it, though Eizen isn't looking. Who would be right now??? But yeah, feel free to talk to me about it if things look like they're headed in that direction!! ☠ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Absolutely! Eizen is pretty strong even without his powers and he's definitely here to spar (or fight), but he relies on punching things so there's that. Talk to me about it! ☠ INJURIES: I'm absolutely fine with this, but please discuss it with me first! ☠ DEATH: Obviously I'm fine with it given this game, but let's discuss it! ☠ MINDREADING: Probably won't come up here, but talk to me about it if it somehow does! ☠ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Eizen is a malakhim (a spirit) so he definitely comes across as a magical being! Don't worry, you can see him even if you have no magical abilities whatsoever. He's definitely got some magical powers on top of that, buuuuut he can't use them so whatever!! Let me know if there's anything else your character could pick up! ☠ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Not really much to note here; Eizen's in great health despite being over a thousand years old!! ☠ IC OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Eizen gets pretty irritated when people insult his sister (or worse, say she's dating someone), but otherwise there isn't really anything to note here! POWERS ☠ REAPER'S CURSE: All malakhim have a "domain", a sphere of influence. Normally these are blessings and bring protecting to those around them, but Eizen's is different. It puts people through difficult trials, an manifests in the form of extremely bad luck. He can toss a coin and always have it land on tails, he breaks every weapon he touches and tries to use, and people who hang around him for long enough often die. As for what will happen in the Shimmer... well, we'll see! ☠ FIGHTING STYLE: Since he can't rely on weapons, Eizen relies on his fists. He can imbue them with magic to make himself hit harder, but even without that he hits like a train. Since his magic will be sealed here, I won't get into that, but he's very used to relying on that along with his punches, so this is going to be interesting. WARNINGS ☠ FATALIST: Honestly, there isn't much to warn for here. Eizen isn't really the sort to go on and on about his fate, but he is going to turn into a dragon one day (which essentially means he'll lose all sense of self and become a monster that won't recognize the people he used to care about). This has led to a more fatalistic world view, which can lead to him being more reckless with his own life. He isn't suicidal by any means and it isn't likely to come up in conversation, but I figured I'd warn for it just to be safe. ☠ SPOILERS: Since he's coming in from the very end of Tales of Berseria, conversations with Eizen may involve spoilers for the game.
